Firm Fall Family Picnic

On this chilly day we got to attend David's work picnic.  All the fun kept us warm.

Bubbles + music = awesome dance party.

Meow.

Looks like our girl found Fredbird!

Boing.

A little gentleman in search of fun.

In case one balloon was not enough, we have two.

In case one tattoo was not enough, we have two.  Represent STL.

Fredbird approves.

J's Friend Party

Josephine, at the ripe old age of not-quite-four, decided she'd like to have all girls at her party.  Then she was reminded that many girls come with brothers... including her.  I think she had a good time anyway.

Unicorn parties require rainbow-y nails... of course.

Ta da!

Unicorn cupcakes!

If they don't look like unicorns to you, I'm not offended, but J knew what they were, and that made all the difference.

All unicorned-up and ready to party.

Whee!

Bounce, bounce, bounce.

Waiting for cake.

A sweet crew waits nicely.

Singing and candles are VERY serious business.

Make a wish!

A sweet sign I didn't even notice until the party was nearly done.

One!

Silly face!

Muscles!

Scary!

Bye bye!

Kisses!

I love fun days with my girl.

Preschool Fall Welcome Event

Josephine is still loving preschool.  Today they had a fun eco-explorer event for all the families!

J has been longing for Stompeez forever.  She had to try them out before we took off for school.

Planting some grass seed.

Making pine cone bird feeders.

Painting rocks.

Planting flowers.  What a fun afternoon!

One Seriously Fun Day (Birthday Party, etc.)

The day that Truman and Josephine had their joint birthday party with family would have been fun no matter what, but the party itself was preceded and followed by super fun events as well.  Thanks to everyone for making it such a great time!

We started out the beautiful morning with some park time.

Fun times with Auntie Essie!

It's hard to keep up with this one.  She never stops moving.

Practicing her figure skating moves.

King of the world.

Geronimo!  (Yes, that is actually what my son says when he jumps.)

Ummmm.... maybe not.

The daredevil-ing continues.

Interactive art = awesome.

Awwwww.

He started on top of the pole, but something went wrong.

You just cannot jump too many times.

Following the trail.

Happy Mama with her babies.

J's cupcakes.  (You'll notice neither set withstood the trip well.)

T's cupcakes.

Ethan and Meme at the VIP reserved table.

Nothing to see here.  Just a unicorn and her brother.

Game on!

Uncle Matthew helps with games.

Hunting for the next item of fun.

Birthday princess.

Birthday prince.

Look at these good sports with their unicorn horns and baseball gear!

Rock on, birthday stars.

Looks like our waiter was a pretty good sport, too.

Make a wish!

Got 'em.  Nice.

Bling.

So far, so good.

The kids with the new (and improved?) Chuck E.

Ticket Blaster time!!

I've got the magic ticket!

Cousins celebrate.

Hang in there, Josephine!

I'm pretty sure we put the kids in the Ticket Blaster to entertain the rest of us.

Oh, my.  Another magic ticket.

Cats?!  Awesome.

Unicorn?!!

What a ride!

The whole, awesome crew!

The day ended with some seriously fun playtime at a new friend's house.

Firepit, running, mud, tractors, flashlights, hot cocoa with marshmallows, laughing, adventuring.
Best.  Day.  Ever.
