Pre-K Party

We tried to fill the weekend before T started kindergarten with fun family activities. 

Let's kick it off with some backyard frisbee golf.

Thankful for thoughtful friends who remembered Truman and his big day!

 

At bedtime, we read this book and T slept with the magic confetti sent home by his teacher just for this big night.  Sweet dreams!

 

The Haircut

In all of Josephine's nearly four years of life, she did not have a haircut.  Until now.

Kindergarten Prep

A good portion of our post-vacation August revolved around getting Truman ready for kindergarten.  Such a memorable time!

 Checking off the school supply list one last time!

As our first bigger event in our new home, we decided to remove an ailing tree.  Flashbacks to a tree falling on our old house made the loss of the tree easier to take, but I'm sure we'll miss it!

Introduction

Well, hello friends and family.  I'm back with another blog.  Facebook has served me well the past few years for keeping people up to date with pictures and such, but now I'd like to minimize my kids' presence on FB and still have a way to share our adventures with you.  Last time I tried this, I maxed out my picture space, so I don't even know if this will work, but... we'll try!
